About the Artist

Artist’s Self-portrait

Alivia George’s creative journey began at an early age, drawn to shapes, colors, objects, plants, and animals. She views these elements as part of a layered visual landscape, where the subconscious takes form through composition and symbolism.

Symbolism has remained central to her process. Recurring people, places, and emotions from her life continue to surface throughout her work, evolving into a personal system of meaning. Keys, appearing in both random and consistent ways, have become a lasting motif. For Alivia, they represent moments of access, glimpses into a deeper internal world. Over time, her work has taken shape as a series of intimate, abstract self-portraits.

As her practice developed, so did her awareness of these patterns, leading her to build a distinct visual language. This language allows her to translate ideas, emotions, and experiences into layered compositions that feel both intuitive and intentional.

While rooted in fine art, this approach extends into her broader creative practice, where she applies the same sensitivity to symbolism, narrative, and form when developing work for others.

Each piece becomes part of an evolving system, shaped by a balance of intuition, structure, and meaning.
